RIDE TENNESSEE 2021

In celebration of the fifth anniversary endurance event for Pedal for Alzheimer’s, the organization is set to host a VIP endurance charity cycling event, September 13-18, 2021. A team of 24 cyclists will begin the Ride Tennessee event in Nashville and conclude in Knoxville after cycling 500+ miles with over 25,000 feet of elevation.

The 6-day route will begin in Nashville with a taste of Music City, and the team will make their way through the foothills to the Smoky Mountains, and will finish in Historic Downtown Knoxville.

TEAM CELEBRATION

At the conclusion of the 6-day charity cycling event, the Ride Tennessee team will celebrate their journey with a private concert featuring singer-songwriter Jay Allen.

In 2018, Jay wrote a song for his mother who recently passed away from Alzheimer’s at only age 54, titled “Blank Stares”. A video of him performing the song live went viral with  over 300 million views on Facebook, and has been featured on ABC World News, People TV, People Magazine, Pickler & Ben, Forbes, and Taste of Country among  others. Jay has since helped raise $35 million to fight the disease and continues to  perform at charity events across the country for the Alzheimer’s Association.

  • Open Chord, Knoxville, TN
  • Sept. 18 at 6:00pm
  • $100/ticket includes concert, food and drink ticket
