On June 21, 2018, the Pedal for Alzheimer’s team of cyclists set out for a 100-mile route for The Longest Day event to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. Even though the day was cut short due to severe weather, the team surpassed the fundraising goal to be able to present $2,500 to the Alzheimer’s Association. Each rider donated towards the mission and West Bicycles in east Tennessee hosted the event.
